Accounts Payable/In Kind Clerk: Duties include but limited to assuring all accounts are paid, properly recorded/documented, up-to-date and monitored and assure that in-kind is accurately and timely processed. The Accounts Payable/In-Kind Clerk will provide support of a responsible and confidential nature to ensure daily operational functions are executed in an efficient manner. Must have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year work experience that demonstrates effectiveness with figures or its equivalency in training. Advanced computer skills. Strong accounting skills, including fund accounting.
Bus Driver: Duties include but not limited to providing safe bus transportation for Head Start children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule. Must have CDL, Class “B” with “P” and “S” endorsement and driving record free of moving violations within the last three years. Ability to read and write; good communication skills; physically able to meet MDOT and other transportation guidelines
Coach: Duties include but not limited to providing professional support to teachers in their classrooms as they implement research and standards-based curriculum and increase their proficiency in implementing effective instructional strategies; support teachers’ understanding and willingness to try new instructional practices; model instructional techniques that teachers are expected to adopt in their classrooms; co-teach to support teachers as they practice new instructional strategies; and provide new teacher’s orientation. Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; at least five years of experience in working with preschool children and/or providing technical assistance to adults. Prefer prior experience in planning and conducting training sessions/ workshops. Have current Mississippi driver’s license, with access to an automobile and available to travel as required.
Human Resources Assistant/Training Coordinator: Duties include but not limited to providing support to Head Start staff with policies and procedures manual information, making all travel arrangement for staff, parents, board and policy council and assuring the provision of appropriate formal and informal staff training and development in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures. Must have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field or its equivalence.. Proficient in PC application and clerical skills to include data entry and typing.
