NOTICE OF BIDS

The Brookhaven School District will receive sealed bids for the Sale of Buses listed below until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the Superintendent’s Office located at 326 E. Court Street in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

#205 Thomas Bus- 2012
#206 Freightliner Bus- 2012

All vehicles will be sold in “as is” condition and may be seen upon request at the Brookhaven Transportation Complex located at 402 North Second Street in Brookhaven, MS. For any additional information, contact Jeff Richardson, Director of Transportation at (601) 835-1806.
Bids will be opened at 10:05 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19,2026 in the Conference Room at the Brookhaven School District Superintendent Office Conference Room at 326 E. Court Street in Brookhaven, MS 39601.
Note:
1. Bid sheets can be picked up at the Superintendent Office located at 326 E. Court Street in Brookhaven, MS between 8:00am – 4:00pm.
2. A cashier’s check, payable to the Brookhaven School District for the total amount of the vehicles must be presented within 10 days of notification or the vehicles will be awarded to the next bidder. If the vehicles are not removed within 30 days of notification, the purchase price will be forfeited, and the property will revert to the ownership of the Brookhaven School District.
3. Payments should be made in the Business Office at the Superintendent Office of the Brookhaven School District.
The Brookhaven School District Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
