PUBLIC NOTICE
SUBSTITUTED TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of July 2024, Shirley L. Roberts executed a certain Deed of Trust to Thomas R. Hudson, Trustee, for the benefit of BankPlus, a Mississippi Banking Corporation, which Deed of Trust was recorded in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Lincoln County, Mississippi, and recorded as Deed of Trust Instrument # 20243496 of the land records; and,
WHEREAS, Simpson Law Firm PA has been substituted in the place and stead of Thomas R. Hudson, Trustee for BankPlus, a Mississippi Banking Corporation, said Appointment of Substitute Trustee being recorded as Instrument # 20263326 and amended as Instrument #020264278 of the records of the Chancery Clerk of said County; and,
WHEREAS, fee simple title is vested in Shirley L. Roberts; and,
WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said Deed of Trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said Deed of Trust, the legal holder of said indebtedness, BankPlus, a Mississippi Banking Corporation, having requested the undersigned Substituted Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said Deed of Trust and for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, trustee’s fees and expense of sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, Simpson Law Firm PA, Substituted Trustee in said Deed of Trust, will on the 17th day of September 2026, offer for sale at public outcry and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), at the West front door of Lincoln County/Brookhaven Government Complex in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash the following described property situated in Lincoln County, State of Mississippi, to-wit:
Lot 17 and the North 23 1/2 feet of Lot 18, all in Block H in Ellendale Subdivision, in the City of Brookhaven, according to the map or plat of said subdivision on file in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Lincoln County, Mississippi.
Simpson Law Firm PA will convey only such title as is vested in it as Substituted Trustee.
