PUBLIC NOTICE

CLOSURE OF COUNTY ROAD IN LINCOLN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors will consider the closure of a portion of Dade Lane located in Lincoln County, Mississippi. The closure is being proposed for the purpose of road abandonment due to lack of public use.
Maps and additional information regarding the proposed road closure are available for review at the Lincoln County Governmental Complex located at 301 South First Street, Brookhaven, Mississippi 39601 during normal business hours.
A public hearing to receive comments regarding the proposed road closure will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors. The meeting and public hearing will be held in the Board Meeting Room at the Lincoln County Governmental Complex.
Any interested parties are invited to attend and provide comments regarding the proposed closure.
