PUBLIC NOTICE
TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS on July 31, 2026, Scott A. Boyd executed a deed of trust to B. Clint Gardner, Trustee for the benefit of Bank of Brookhaven, which deed of trust was filed in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Lincoln County, Mississippi, on August 20, 2020, recorded in Instrument #20204174;
WHEREAS default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust and the entire debt secured thereby, having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust, and the legal holder of said indebtedness having requested the undersigned Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, Trustee’s fees and expenses of sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, B. Clint Gardner, Trustee in said deed of trust for the benefit of Bank of Brookhaven, will on August 19, 2026, offer for sale at public outcry for cash to the highest bidder, and sell within the legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) at the West entrance of the Lincoln County Courthouse in Brookhaven, Mississippi, the following described property situated in Lincoln County, Mississippi, to-wit:
A parcel of land containing 1.0 acres, more or less, situated in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 10, Township 6 North, Range 8 East, Lincoln County, Mississippi and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the SW corner of SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 10, run thence North 89 Degrees 37 Minutes East 7.60 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
1. Thence run North 124.05 feet;
2. Thence run North 89 Degrees 37 Minutes East 161.0 feet;
3. Thence run North 75 degrees 35 Minutes East 156.50 feet to the West Right of Way of Highway 583;
4. Thence run along said Right of Way a curve to the right of the chord being South 08 Degrees 18 Minutes 22 Seconds East 163.56 feet;
5. Thence run South 89 Degrees 37 Minutes West 336.20 feet along an existing fence to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
I WILL CONVEY only such title as is vested in me as Trustee.
