NOTICE

A Complaint for Forfeiture has been filed in this Court by the State of Mississippi, by and through the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, seeking the forfeiture of the above-described property, which was seized November 4, 2025, in Lincoln County, Mississippi.

If you are the owner of the defendant property and you wish to contest the forfeiture of said property then you are required to mail or hand deliver a written response to the Complaint for Forfeiture to Morton W. Smith, General Counsel, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, P.O. Box 958, Jackson, MS 39205.

YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED NOT LATER THAN THIRTY DAYS AFTER THE DAY OF SEPTEMBER 9, 2026, WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR HAND DELIVERED, A JUDGEMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE PROPERTY OR OTHER RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT FOR FORFEITURE.

You must also file the original of your response with the Clerk of this Court within the aforesaid time.
