IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF
ELIZABETH ANN POWELL, DECEASED
CAUSE NO. 2026-0223

SUMMONS BY PUBLICATION AND NOTICE OF HEARING
TO: UNKNOWN HEIRS OF ELIZABETH ANN POWELL and UNKNOWN ISSUE OF DONNA LYNN SMITH

In the above cause it has been averred that Elizabeth Ann Powell, deceased, was not married at the time of her death and was the parent of but four children, namely Kenneth Wayne Powell, Sharon Ann Powell, Tina Marie Powell McGhee, and Donna Lynn Smith; and that said Donna Lynn Smith predeceased the Decedent; and that said Donna Lynn Smith was the parent of but two children, her issue, namely Jessica Michele Smith Hyde, and Bridgette Lynn Smith Wheatley; and, therefore, that the Decedent was survived by the following persons constituting her sole heirs at law: Kenneth Wayne Powell, Sharon Ann Powell, Tina Marie Powell McGhee, Jessica Michele Smith Hyde, and Bridgette Lynn Smith Wheatley.
Any other person claiming to be an heir of Elizabeth Ann Powell or an issue of Donna Lynn Smith, you are hereby required to be and appear before this Court on November 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the Chancery Court room of the Lincoln County Government Complex in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to show cause, if you can, why you should be included as an heir in the estate of Elizabeth Ann Powell, deceased, otherwise, such claim or claims shall not be considered by the Court in its adjudication of heirship in this estate.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.
